On Saturday 6th November 2010 at The Brewery in London MACS held it Gala Ice Ball with 200 guests enjoying food and entertainment from The Lionels and City Jazz. The event was attended by our Patrons Jodie Prenger and Mr Richard Colin, sadly David Blunkett MP was unable to attend.

The night started with a Champagne reception to welcome all our guests along with our two Ice Queens and Jack Frost who performed some amazing juggling. The room was then revealed with fantastic Ice Sculpturs on every table. The food was personally introduced by The Head Chef Erling Rugsten and what followed was a fantastic 4 course meal that everybody enjoyed.

Barry Stickings The MACS Chairman gave a welcome speech about MACS and introduced our patrons Jodie and Richard. Throughout the evening a silent auction ran along with a live auction which was a great success with Jodie and Barry being the auctioneers for the evening. The diamond in a glass of champagne took pace where our guests purchased a glass for £25 and each had a number on it so with host Gavin Waugh doing a fantastic job as compere the diamond valued at £4300 was won by a very excited young lady who was soon to get engaged.

Later in the evening Richard Colin gave a speech and then toasted us all. The highlight of the night was a very moving talk by Adam Clark, aged 14 years which left us all in awe and with not a dry eye in the house.

We would like to thank all the people who made it happen Jenny Hogg and Phil Duffy our event organisers, Celebreart, Our fantastic Ice Queens and Jack Frost, The Lionels and City Jazz,Icebox, Terry Bradford the staff of The Brewery and especially Graham our main man on the Night, also all our donors and celebrity friends who signed the MACS Canvas. But most of all to our guest who attended on the evening to make it happen.
